How it works
Send me your beloved old (or new) t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jerseys and I will blend them into a BEAUTIFUL handmade memory quilt that tells its very own story!
How exciting it is to wrap up in such wonderful memories!
GREAT gift for a graduation, anniversary, birthday, retirement, wedding and Christmas, off to college or memorial quilt for a loved one who has passed on
All shirts must be clean, but can have as many stains and holes in them as you desire! That's what builds the character of YOUR quilt!
Examples of themes - baseball, football, basketball, soccer, band, choir, concerts, military, retirement, family, vacations, in memory of a loved one, NASCAR, Harley Davidson, you name it!
Was your son or daughter in a fraternity or sorority? Just graduated from high school? Just back from spring break or vacation? Maybe on a school athletic team? Going to concerts, vacations and business promotions. What are you going to do with all those t-shirts they just had to have?
Making a T-shirt quilt is an imaginative, accessible way to transform laundry into legacy! I can create a lasting homemade heirloom from your treasured T-shirts.

T-shirts put away in a box?
Unfinished quilt top?
New baby on the way?
I just need 12 (or more) t-shirts, your color preferences and I take care of the rest. Shirts with front and back graphics can count as two. You will receive a custom made quilt in just two-three weeks. I back the T-shirts with a soft interfacing to stablize the shirt, add sashings to add continuity and borders. It is then quilted on my quilting machine. Photos can be printed on fabric as well for an additional fee.
Finished size is approximately 54" x 70", or slightly larger, which is a generous sized lap quilt or small twin size.
If you would like a larger quilt, please contact me to discuss.
The tee shirts should be clean and uncut. If they have minor damage, I can do minor repairs. They must be clean and odor free.
*Please note: Turn around time is approximately 2 weeks from the time I receive your shirts. I do have 'busy' times of the year. Order now for fastest results!
